Solidarity Campaigns

As a Pan-African organization based in the diaspora, we believe one of our primary responsibilities is to mobilize resources for revolutionary organizations in Africa. That is why, since 2022, we have been fundraising to support revolutionary organizations with material resources and with funds.

Thomas Sankara Center for Liberation and African Unity

The Thomas Sankara Center for Liberation and African Unity (TSC) is a Pan-African library and political education center in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso that houses a free lending library. They also run a free after school young pioneers program for primary/ elementary school children and host film screenings, debates, and other events that further political consciousness. You can follow their work on instagram @burkinabooks

Since 2022, our organization has been fundraising to continue to provide them with books and other supplies for their library. In 2024, we collaborated with another Pan-African organization ( Coalition for the elimination of imperialism in Africa) to purchase a generator for their library.

THE Comite de Kinshasa (Kinshasa Committee)

The Comite de Kinshasa (Kinshasa Committee) is a revolutionary organization based in the DRC that is dedicated to raising the consciousness of and organizing the Congolese working class. This organization was created in 2022 by three young Congolese after observing the political, economic and social situation of the Congolese working class, and determined to bring about revolutionary change in all sectors in order to establish socialism in the DRC.
In 2024 our organization raised $3690 for solidarity efforts in Goma, Congo. We sent two large bags containing essentials such as sanitary pads, underwear, body wipes, vitamins and painkillers to our comrades in Congo and they distributed them to the displaced people in Goma.

At the end 2024, we launched another fundraiser to raise $6000 to help the comrades of Comite de Kinshasa set up a potato farm in Kolwezi, DRC. The primary objectives of the farm are to combat food insecurity since part of the harvest will be distributed to the masses and to allow the Comite de Kinshasa to become self-sustainable by selling a portion of the harvest to support their activities on the ground. They have plans to build a poultry farm and to grow additional crops.

The Alliance of Sahel States (AES)

The AES, now AES Confederation, is a Pan-African bloc that brings together Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. Together, they have kicked out imperialist armies, nationalized their massive natural resources and begun a process of collectively industrializing their region. To us pan-africanists, the AES is the most important anti-colonial struggle on this planet today and also stands as the blueprint for how we will unite our continent ( achieve pan-africanism). That is why our organization regularly sends funds to revolutionary organizations within the AES as well as donating directly to these countries’ national solidarity funds.

Some of the organizations we have materially supported in the AES include :

  • Femmes Engagées pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (Niger)
  • Quartier Général de la Révolution (Mali)
  • La Veille Citoyenne ( Burkina Faso)
  • Thomas Sankara Center for liberation and African Unity
